British Pie Week, in association with Jus-Rol Professional is back for another winter of tasty festivities.

With research from Mintel* unveiling 84% of us enjoying a pie or pastry dish in the past 12 months, there has never been a better time for caterers to review their pie offering and profit from Britain’s favourite pastry dish. The current Pub Pie champion Adam Pavey, saw an increase in sales when his pub got involved in last year’s British Pie Week, and put on a dedicated pie menu for the week.

“We put on 11 pies, making sure there was something for everyone with a good mix of meat, game, fish, poultry and vegetarian options. The response was amazing, our GP usually averages 59% but by focusing on the pies it grew to 75.5% during that week; as a pub we also made more in ale sales with people looking to have a pie and pint.”
